The Only Son Cruise 2014 Collection
The Only Son is a label I’ve come across a handful of times whilst online shopping, and though each time I was impressed with what I saw, I had never got around to looking into the brand further. I stumbled upon these images for the cruise 2014 lookbook a few days ago & was instantly spellbound, spending the best part of the rest of the day searching for where to get my hands on that perfect folded black dress.
The creation of Bangkok born Au Ekbutr Udomphol, The Only Son fuses minimal & utilitarian cuts with a distinctive youthful energy. Having previously designed for Ksubi, Sass & Bide and Imitation of Christ, it’s clear to see these influences on his own line, but with an added sharpness & structure.
I don’t think I even need to mention how beautiful these lookbook shots are, but I will, they’re making me pine for sticky summer days & super clean, fuss free outfits like these to beat the heat in.

That red dress, though. I like how structured and clean their designs are.

Gorgeous! The first dress is beautiful, but the overall tailoring on the more structured pieces is amazing!

Love the dress in the bottom right hand corner! These pieces definitely have a Ksubi feel to them – another brand I adore! What a talented designer.

I can see you in any of these. Burgundy is nice against pale skin and dark features.
