FAIIINT Cropped Leather Jacket / River Island Asymmetric Skirt / Choies Galaxy Leggings * / Topshop Boutique Lace Up Boots
I know I’m pretty late to the party with these galaxy leggings, but I’m just way too much of a space nerd to resist them any longer. I loved them when they first appeared, but the fact that they were everywhere & everyone had a pair really put me off getting some myself. I also could never really justify the £50+ price tag when I knew for me they would be more of a novelty piece, something I only wore very occasionally or mostly just around the house when working from home.
I was skeptical of the quality of this pair when I ordered them, being so cheap, but I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. The print is vibrant & clear, and though the material could be a little thicker they are definitely not sheer or cheap looking. I have already worn them more than I expected to and I love that even though they are one of the more colourful things I own, they still feel quite dark & fit easily into the rest of my wardrobe.

Yeah, I was really expecting them to be quite cheap looking, but was so surprised how nice they are! :) And thankyou! ;)

Guh! Everything about this outfit is perfection! The drape on teh skirt and the fit of the cropped jacket, with just the peep of colour with the galaxy print! So in love!

Wait, I’m just trying to realize you have your own leather jacket? HOW amazing is that! I love the galaxy printed leggings, though it feels so unusual to see you around wearing color! Looks amazing on you :)
FAIIINT says
Thanks Tanja! This one is from my degree collection when I studied fashion at University :) I did feel a bit weird in them to begin with cos they’re so colourful, but I love them now!

I was not expecting to see you wearing something so.. vibrant! I like that they stand out in your all black outfit x

Ahhh, that jacket again! You have quite an eye for designing.
I’m a space nerd too, so I can understand. I quite like the galaxy leggings with your ensemble. It works. :)
FAIIINT says
Thankyou :) Hope to be able to show off some of my newer pieces here very soon!

Very unexpected! ANd how cool that you are taking some risks going out of your comfort zone. Also Stephanie is ok to be teh last one to jump into a trend train, this way you actually know you want it and not because everyone and magazines are telling you “must haves”
It is a great way to brighten up your muted pallets xx

Yes, exactly! I’m never usually a trend follower, so it felt weird for me to want such an ‘it’ piece… But I guess if you like it, you like it, makes no difference if it’s ‘in’ or ‘out’ :)
Andrea says
I LOVE how you’ve worn the leggings as a statement look here with black! It makes them really stand out and they’re a lovely colour :) I think too many people wear them with other clashing prints and colours – if I ever bought a pair this is how I’d want to wear them! You look lovely :)
Following your blog now – so glad I found you :) you have amazing style!
Keep in touch!

Thankyou! I agree, I’ve never been a fan of the clashing look either, I think they deserve to be the one statement thing in an outfit, not drowned out with other prints.
That’s such a lovely thing to hear, I shall go check your blog out later tonight! :)

oh you totally took me by surprise here!! as I was scrolling down the first picture I was shocked to see that much colour in your legs!! It’s cool though, you have to pair with a total black look, other wise they’re too much.

I love these, galaxy print is one of my faves but I feel a bit silly in it for some reason. You really pull these off though, they suit you so much! xxx
